There is no glory to be had in volunteering here. No thunderous applause or outward displays of gratitude. It is not a performance, but good old charitable work that requires volunteers who are unafraid of getting their hands dirty.

And it is on this sombre note that we invite interested volunteers to contact us. It is hoped that this website and our newly-launched blog will be sufficient to pique your interest. We know that charity is always difficult when with the intellectually disabled – you are donating your time, life’s most important gift, to beneficiaries you may not understand and who usually cannot or do not express their appreciation or affection directly. But at the end of the day, isn’t this what real charity is all about?
